Hello! 

Hi! My name is Raj Khepar, I'm a photographer, retoucher and furniture maker based in the UK. I'm also a Canon Pro Imaging Technical Expert! I take on all kinds of work alongside my personal projects including commercial clients (covering all kinds of campaigns from stop motion animation to print ads), events and weddings with my partner, corporate head-shots and product photography. With Canon, I am fortunate to be able to travel the country training and supporting both amateurs and professional photographers on location at specialist events like Wimbledon Tennis, Formula 1, doing talks at trade shows and workshops. Also for wildlife, landscape, portraiture and many other genres.

I am a self-confessed nerd that is happiest when creating something new across multiple mediums from photography to woodwork and all kinds of others. I love finding new challenges so that I might learn something new. I started photography in school, later graduating from the University for the Creative Arts, Farnham in 2013 having earned a BaHons in Photography. University helped develop my storytelling.

I have since been freelancing, taking on work for a variety of companies doing family portraiture, making marketing materials for different products and shooting headshots. Throughout I have developed my personal projects which can be seen here. 

My furniture side business came about after building a table for a photo shoot a few years ago. Both my partner and I are passionate about sustainability and try to live as low impact as possible and that ethos weaves its way through our personal and work lives, my furniture business is all about recycling and re-using wood and creating bespoke furniture that lasts a lifetime.
