An advanced version of our speedlight workshop. This will cover more complex multi light set-ups, go in depth with High Speed Sync, show you how to use everyday objects as modifiers. As well as get into using colour correction gels, how to, why, when and for creative effect.
Our newest workshop on offer, this one covers speedlights in even more detail. Located in the brand new Garden Bar in Hove. This venue offers large open plan spaces with some fantastic furniture and decoration to go with it, allowing us to really get into creating great images.
We will also have two models for this shoot, so we will be going over how to light two people, it will also give you an opportunity to practice model direction as this is key to making images with multiple models work. We will also be able to go over the differences in lighting a male and female model.
All workshops include some written materials outlining the concepts that we will be covering, with a few example images and the lighting diagram and settings to go with it, so that you have something to refer to afterwards. As well as a model pose guide/ cheat sheet to allow you to get some great shots from the start of any shoot so you and the model can feel more confident.
This workshop will go over some topics from the speedlight workshop, but expand on them greatly. We will utilise high speed sync, multiple flash setups and modifiers, including colour correction gels.
We will also be going over the use of reflectors in far more detail, as they are integral to the use of speedlights in many situations.
If you've done the speedlight workshop and want more of a challenge and the chance to learn some more advanced techniques, then this is the workshop for you.
If you've never done one of my workshops before, no problem. This course does have some requirements though; you need to be confident with shooting with your flash off camera in manual mode.
